Update Tuseday

I got Kasey's package today and a letter from Kimber. I was starting to think you all forgot about me, no mail all week. Well it sounds like your all having the time of your life's, not a lot happened this week kind of slow but you know it happens oh well. I have realized how much I do like to fish, I think I just like the time to relax. That is something you don't get out here, I love you all and I am doing great.

got me another pair of boots! I'm gonna send a box home soon, I realized that I only got 2 long sleeve shirts and 5 short sleeve..  I might send some of thoughts home and have you send me some more long sleeve.

If you look up the news over here this guy was just arrested for robbing some places well he was high on drugs... our recent convert :)

this is a man we teach, he is 84 and he is so so so excited to read the book of Mormon. Last week they found cancer in him and he has been having a lot of cemo we will see what happens.

Guess what I have to send you a can of skyline chili, they sell it all Wal-Mart over here it's so good.
Oh yeah I have to tell you this part of our area on the other side of our area it is way ghetto and we have been trying to get this one girl to church for like a month. This last Sunday she was like yes I'll come I need to go, so we went over with a member to pick her up. Her next door neighbor Kim (like her mom) came out and said she says sorry she cant come she's in the hospital, a man crawled through her window last night and rapped her so she cant go. They acted like it was all normal and that it happened all the time I was freaking out.

well this week just flew by, I can't believe how fast the weeks seem to go. oh yeah dad the road's out here suck, the people in Utah don't need to worry about there's so much. Even Collette said they weren't that great down there, it must Just be something with this side of the untied states. ha ha

I hope to get some more written letter's from you guys soon. Also I could use some new scarfs if anyone's board, it snowed like a foot in one night it's back to winter this week.

I love you all
Elder Cox

bowling with my mission family

well I didn't get transfers I stayed here, that is good. Collette's letter wont get here until tomorrow so I'm glad that I didn't miss that. Instead we went bowling, here it's 10 dollars and you get unlimited games for two hours. Everything is now slowing down a lot, and all of our investigator's are cancelling on us. So we are knocking a lot more doors to try and talk to at least someone. I got to watch a head on collision at 40 mph, it was pretty cool, then 5 min later we watched the bank get robbed. It warmed up and everything went crazy, it went from being -5 everyday to 47 the last three. All the snow is gone and it feels like spring, so we just go walking a bunch now which is good. I love you all, thanks for the jerky. It sounds like your doing some good missionary work in heaven. Kyle will have to tell me how that class goes cuz I wanted to take it. I hope you all have a great week!!!! oh and we are emailing so late cuz its Martin Luther king day so the library's are closed, and we are at a members house.  love you

Dad.
had a great week, went by so fast I don't remember half of it. had an awesome day on Saturday I only baptized the tall one but his friend got baptized that day too and so did that boys mom. it sounds like your making some good changes in your new office, just don't steel the turkey tail out of my room or ill hunt you down.  jk ha ha Tell Jake I have telekinesis with Hannah, so its me keeping him up. I feel like I will be home in no time too. you don't take it days at a time any more because they fly by to fast so we take it weeks at a time now, and transfers are on the week of the 18th so  I will let you know what happens. love ya dad!!!!

Short and Sweet

Mom,
Its been -5 out here all week, today its freezing rain so we now will get to walk. I hope your having an amazing day I love you guts. A ward member knitted me a scarf  and its awesome, all my scarfs are like 4 feet long. You should sent me a really long one that has a cool pattern, or is cool material, its the only variety I have so anything would be great.
love, Elder Cox

I haven't heard from my dad yet today, but I'm sure we're getting letter's later this week. we'll keep you posted :)

Jammie's the one I baptized and the other boy is named Alex, his mom got baptized too but I don't know her name.

moving the work forward

i got a letter today....dear my eldest sister, the weather has been quite dreary and gray. makes me feel like the tear of a chipmunk as it takes it's last breath in my trap. lol i eat a lot of eggs, you can make them taste like stake!!  ha ha German pancakes and guess what i ate last night eggplant!!! blehhhh :p  actually it was good, it's in a dish called hoppin John. They have it in Louisiana. There are member's in my ward that just moved up from right were Colette is serving. There daughter still lives there, so i wonder if Colette knows her? So i here the bangles won!!!! or at least the Steelers lost last night. ha ha Tell Bristol her thumb tastes better then her toys. we studied (pmg) a lot in the mtc but after your out here you don't study it so much. we just went over how to use the the ward member's to move the work forward. so with out ward member's the work wouldn't go anywhere, missionaries really depend on the members a lot. i don't think anyone really adjusts to mission life, they just go with the flow. my goal for 2015..... I want to finally read the whole book of Mormon and become the best missionary that i can!!! I love you Kristin keep chuggin and give kyle a wet Willy for me, can't wait to hear back.

Member Missionary's

Well it's Monday again...... YAY!!!

My email just said I have a letter coming but, dad and mom got good ones so here they are. :)

Dad,
We have a baptism this weekend and I get to do it, the guy asked me to baptize him so I am supper
excited. This week started out and no one wanted to have us over, so as of Wednesday we have
taught 23 lessons and found 2 new investigators. That is the standard pretty much, so we came back
and met them even though it was a tough week. Well they gave us a car so we haven't been biking,
other than that the weeks are just starting to fly by.

(this was to funny to leave out)

Tell Jake from "state farm" to get to work, and that he should name his new kid after me cuz look how great I turned out. plus I need him to adjust my policy ha ha ha
he will get a kick out of it hopefully. well I love ya Dad.

Mom,
I'm doing great  my week just was here and gone, it seem like its going so fast but at the same time its not. They made us come in at 6:30 on new years and they gave us some talks to read, some self evaluation to do, and then we set goals for the new year. Nothing exciting happened except for popping the fireworks you gave us, and blowing on our noisemakers at ten o clock. (so like at 8 there) I'm glad dad is doing better I tough he would have some stress relief when he finally got the new job, and I hope Kyle is doing better. That's one of the things that got me really good at Christmas, seeing my two little buddies (Jacy and Kalee) I miss them a lot. Tell everyone at church I am doing great, and that I say ward members are 90 percent of missionary work so don't hesitant to help out the missionary's. I love you mom, so much have a great week!!!!

Oh I am baptizing someone on Saturday, his name is Jamie angle and he is 20 and his mom just got baptized a little while ago.
